Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 2026
Text Generator is built to be private by default: there is no account, no sign-up, and everything you type into the tool is converted right inside your browser. Your text stays on your device, so we never see it. This page explains the few cases where data is involved at all, and the choices you have.
Preferences saved in your browser
A handful of settings live in your browser's local storage so they are still there on your next visit. They stay on your device and are never transmitted:
- Theme — whether you prefer light or dark mode.
- Favorites — the styles you saved with the heart button.
- Preview size — the preview text size the page remembers for you.
Offline storage (PWA)
So the tools keep working without a connection and pages load faster, the site registers a service worker that caches its own pages and assets on your device. The cache holds nothing but the site's public files — no personal data — and you can remove it at any time by clearing site data for textgenerator.org in your browser settings.
Analytics
We rely on Google Analytics to see the big picture — page views, approximate region, and device or browser type. These are aggregated usage figures, never the text you type. You can read how Google handles such data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and opt out altogether with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Advertising
Ads may be served by Google AdSense, which can use cookies to deliver, measure, and — where permitted — personalize them. You can manage personalization at adssettings.google.com, or opt out of some third-party personalized ads at aboutads.info. Once third-party ad code loads, we do not control the cookies it sets.
If you contact us
If you email us, we receive whatever you decide to send — your address and your message — and use it solely to answer you. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes
This policy may be revised from time to time; the latest version always lives on this page. Any questions? Contact us.
